Acquaintance stole his BMW with physical force, then parked it in his own yard, police searching for the robber

Vehicle interceptions and thefts are becoming increasingly frequent in Sarajevo Canton, Patria reports.

S.E. from Ilijaš experienced this firsthand when an acquaintance used physical force to steal his BMW car.

- S. E. from Ilijaš came to the official premises of the Fifth Police Station and reported that a person known to him, Š. A., also from Ilijaš, committed the criminal act of robbery against him using physical force on Polomska Street. On that occasion, a vehicle of the brand "BMW" type 330 was stolen from him. The duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed about the incident.

Police officers working on the investigation of the said criminal act on the same day around 6:00 PM, in the yard of the house used by Š. A., located on Bosanski put Street, Ilijaš municipality, found the aforementioned vehicle, but the perpetrator of the criminal act was not found at that time. Police officers are working on investigating the incident and finding the perpetrator – said the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton.
