CALL FROM THE FBiH GOVERNMENT Cantons to speed up processing of applications for payment of funds to farmers

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The program of monetary support in agriculture and rural development for 2022 in the amount of 106,000,000 KM with support measures that should contribute to the sustainability and improvement of agricultural production, which was adopted by the Government of the Federation of BiH last week, has entered into force, it was announced from the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry.

The program of monetary support in agriculture and rural development for this year allows for funds to be paid to agricultural producers after the cantons submit processed applications.

- The Federal Ministry of Agriculture, in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Finance, has secured funds for payments of monetary support in agriculture and rural development. Therefore, we have sent a call to all cantonal
ministries responsible for agriculture to speed up the process of processing applications from agricultural producers, in order to create prerequisites for payments of monetary support after the submitted processed applications are received. For farmers today, in addition to the amount of incentive funds, the regularity of payments is also important, i.e., when they need it most, during spring sowing - stated the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry.

At joint meetings held during February and March, the relevant cantonal ministers were informed about the necessity of timely processing of applications by cantonal ministries for the fastest possible payment of support funds to agricultural producers, it was announced from the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry.
