Positive progress is noticed, but imports to BiH are still almost double exports

Exports from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the first nine months of this year increased by 4.2 percent compared to the same period last year, and amounted to 6 billion and 689 million KM, according to data from the Agency for Statistics of BiH, writes the BiH news agency Patria.
In the same period, imports to BiH decreased by 1 percent, but they are still higher than exports and amount to 11 billion and 790 million KM.

The largest contribution to the increase in exports from BiH was made by the export of food and live animals, the export of meat, cereals, and the export of fruits and vegetables. The effects of milk exports from BiH are not yet visible, but milk could significantly contribute to the increase in exports from BiH.
The decrease in imports to BiH is most influenced by the purchase of domestic products, writes NAP.
