Last week, our country's capital hosted around 3,000 participants of the Annual Meeting of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), who, through a multi-day program, became acquainted with the potential of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Thus, positive news about our country reached some of the most important world media.
The uniqueness, diversity, richness of culture, as well as the emotions of the people who live here, left a significant impression on the guests who traveled from all over the world, and the host country's stand played a significant role in the overall story, attracting the attention of all attendees in the Parliamentary Assembly building.
The stand was the first point of contact for all present representatives of the international business community and was set up with the aim of providing additional interactive support for the country's promotion. In this way, potential investors had the opportunity to get more information about all the country's potentials, strategic industries, and specific projects, to which the joint efforts of FIPA and the Foreign Trade Chamber contributed.
In addition to its informative aspect, the stand also had a creative side, showcasing the natural wealth and beauty of our country, which leaves all guests breathless. Standing out among all others, it attracted and delighted all passers-by, and even the representatives of the EBRD were not indifferent.
"I think this stand is a true testament to the creativity and originality of the people of this country. When we first saw it, we were surprised and intrigued by its composition, lines, colors, and symbolism. The mere fact that it took hours to assemble speaks volumes about the effort behind it, and it truly reminds me of all the beauties of this country. I believe this is the image of BiH that we want to convey to everyone present," stated Stefania Galbiati Ball, Head of Protocol and Organizing Committee of the Annual Meeting at the office of the Secretary General of the EBRD.
The presentation of the country was complemented by a virtual tour of Mostar's streets, i.e., a visit to some of the most famous locations in this city, which was available to all attendees through VR technology at the stand itself. Some of the braver visitors also had the opportunity to try the famous jumps from the Old Bridge in Mostar. Bosnia and Herzegovina can achieve a lot, as it proved through all aspects of organizing this major event, and it will certainly remain a topic of conversation for the global business elite for a long time to come.
