(Patria) - In a fire that broke out in the basement of a 16-story building in Istanbul, 29 people lost their lives, while several were seriously injured.
Five people have been detained due to the fire, Turkish television TRT Haber reported.

The fire broke out today in the basement of the building, which served as a nightclub. It is believed that the fire occurred during renovations.
31 fire trucks with 86 firefighters participated in extinguishing the fire.
