(Patria) - The fire in Vratnik, near the White Fortress, has been brought under control thanks to the timely reaction of fire crews.
Members of the Protection and Rescue Service of the Old Town Municipality were also on site.
Due to the wind, the fire quickly spread to the surrounding vegetation. The cause of the fire is most likely fireworks that were set off a few minutes before the fire.
Currently, work is being done on site remediation and monitoring of any hotspots to prevent the fire from reigniting.
