A fire broke out in Plano near Trogir. Carried by wind that constantly changes direction, it began approaching houses, HRT reported, as carried by NAP.
Due to thick smoke, Split Airport was closed for two hours, but according to the latest information, one plane has since taken off.
Firefighters from the voluntary fire departments of Trogir, Vranjic, Slatine, and Marina are on the scene, assisted by four water-dropping aircraft (Canadairs).
