Bosnalijek Organizes Blood Donation Drive on its 70th Anniversary

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The blood donation drive organized by employees of the pharmaceutical company Bosnalijek has concluded at the Institute for Transfusion Medicine of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This is a continuation of activities that Bosnalijek, as a socially responsible company, organizes and implements to mark its 70th anniversary.

A significant number of Bosnalijek employees responded to the call to participate in this drive to donate the precious fluid, demonstrating how a little time can make a big difference for those who need it most.

Bosnalijek General Manager Nedim Uzunović emphasizes that Bosnalijek employees have been participating in such drives for years, aware of the importance of voluntary blood donation.

"We at Bosnalijek, as the largest domestic industrial drug manufacturer, are aware of the importance of ensuring sufficient blood supplies for patients. Although the pharmaceutical industry today can produce medicines for many diseases, no one has yet managed to produce any substitute for blood, a precious fluid essential for life. Therefore, we also call on all other business entities and individuals who are able to donate blood, as they help save lives," said Uzunović.
