Increase the number of women in police structures

Today, the Fourth Assembly of the Association "Network of Women Police Officers" was held at the premises of the Third Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

- After the presentation and consideration of the annual work report, which was the main item on today's agenda, the assembly members considered a number of initiatives submitted with the aim of improving the employment and legal status of female police officers, and the method of implementing these proposals into legal and sub-legal acts of police and security agencies in our country.

After the discussion on the submitted proposals, the assembly adopted appropriate conclusions on the future activities of the Association in terms of implementing the adopted conclusions. We remind you that the Association operates on the principles of promoting gender equality and democratic values in police work, with a special emphasis on protecting the rights of female police officers, ensuring their equal status, and increasing the number of women in police structures, especially in leadership positions.
