CONFIRMED BY POLICE: Autopsy of the body of the woman found in the river Bosna to be performed today

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The autopsy of the female body found in the river Bosna, in the Zenica settlement of Kanal, will be performed today, Elvedin Fišek, spokesperson for the ZDK MoI Administration, confirmed for Zenicablog.

Yesterday, around 2:10 PM, an lifeless body was noticed in the riverbed of the Bosna, which was then pulled to the shore. No identification documents were found with the body, nor anything that would help in the eventual identification of who it was.

According to the Police Administration, there have been no reported disappearances of women in this Canton recently, so checks are being conducted with other police authorities regarding any reported disappearances.

More information about the estimated time of drowning, i.e., how long the corpse was in the water, whether there are any signs that could help with identification, as well as the medical causes of death and any injuries, will be available after the autopsy.
The duty prosecutor of the ZDK Prosecutor's Office has been informed of everything, Zenicablog reported.
