
(Patria) - The Municipal Court in Sarajevo confirmed the indictment of the KS Prosecutor's Office against Admir Arnautović, Admir Jahović, Alden Velić, Edvin Muminović, and Muhamed Bakija for the criminal offenses of severe and minor bodily injuries.
The accused are charged with beating two citizens of the United Arab Emirates and Yemen in front of a catering facility in the Centar municipality on June 20, 2024, before midnight, after a brief argument.
All accused punched, kicked, and hit one of the injured parties with a bat in the head and body, after which the accused Admir Arnautović grabbed him by the neck and head with his hands and dragged him along the sidewalk and road, and then the others continued to beat him together. After the second injured party intervened, they started beating him too, until present citizens prevented them. The injured parties sustained severe and minor bodily injuries.
The prosecutor proposed extending the pre-trial detention for the accused Admir Arnautović. The other accused have been under restrictive measures since before. For the main hearing, it is proposed to hear seven witnesses, forensic medicine experts, and present about 40 material evidence.
