Search for the second worker of the Turkish company 'Cengiz Insaat' continued today

(Patria) - The Federal Civil Protection Administration early this morning sent members of two Federal specialized units for water and underwater rescue with the necessary equipment who, together with members of the Žepče Mountain Rescue Service, Žepče Civil Protection, Žepče Police Department, and AFAD members, will continue the search for the worker who, along with his colleague, was engaged in securing the Corridor Vc highway construction site when on Monday, November 8, they fell from a crane at a height of ten meters into the swollen Bosna River at the Kahrimani site near Begov Han in Žepče, after which a search was organized for them.

The body of one of the workers, a 43-year-old Turkish citizen, was found by rescuers in the Bosna River on November 11, and the search for the second missing man, a Turkish citizen, continued.

Twenty-two members of the Federal Civil Protection Administration, 12 of them from the Federal specialized unit for underwater rescue with medical support and 10 members of the Federal specialized unit for water rescue with boats, divided into three groups and with a diving team on standby, will search the area from the accident site to Žepče and from Žepče to Zavidovići.

Members of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority - AFAD, who responded to the call of the Turkish company "Cengiz Insaat", arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday evening, November 12, and the next day immediately joined the search to assist rescuers in finding the missing worker, a Turkish citizen.

A team with a sonar from the Public Security Department of the Brčko District will also join the search today, as the sonar they have is adapted for this type of river.
