Second Lieutenant of the Armed Forces of BiH Aldijana Ratković dies after accident on Rogoj

Second Lieutenant of the Armed Forces of BiH Aldijana Ratković died seven days after a serious traffic accident on the Rogoj pass near Trnovo, confirmed by the Armed Forces of BiH.

Ratković and her family were driving over the Rogoj pass when her brother lost control of the vehicle due to heavy rain and crashed into a truck coming from the opposite direction.

The AF BiH stated that they are saying goodbye with great sadness, painfully but soldierly bravely, to Second Lieutenant Aldijana Ratković, a sister in uniform, commander, friend...

- Although she was at the beginning of her military path, she left much behind. She loved to learn and help others, extremely responsible and professional, she was an example to us all. In these sad days, a colleague from her first class of officers said: „She was the best of us. We all wanted to sometimes show ourselves better and more special than we are, all except Aldijana – they stated in the farewell letter from the AF BiH.

-  Second Lieutenant Aldijana Ratković did not lose this battle, she just continued, soldierly, to march on – added her colleagues.

The funeral prayer for Aldijana Ratković will be held on August 15 in front of the mosque in Goražde, after which the burial will take place at the local cemetery Ratkovići, reports Patria.
