Contract Signed for the Maintenance of the "Ilidža 2017" Festival

The Municipality of Ilidža has decided to organize and realize the cultural-music event Festival "Ilidža 2017" this year as well. Great names began their careers precisely on the stage of the "Ilidža Festival". The biggest hits were created there, and the greatest interpreters of sevdalinka began their brilliant careers, reports Patria.

With the intention of offering new musical creators and interpreters this year as well, preparations for the organization began earlier. For the third year in a row, Hayat Television will be the technical organizer.

A contract for the organization of the Festival was signed on this occasion at the Municipality of Ilidža, and it was signed by the Mayor of the Municipality of Ilidža, Prof. Dr. Senaid Memić, and the Director of Hayat Television, Elvir Švrakić.

- We know that the Ilidža Festival is our brand, something that makes our local community recognizable throughout the region, which is a great obligation and responsibility for us. We expect that the Festival of Folk Music from July 26 to 29, 2017, on the Summer Stage will be a feast for both the eyes and ears, and that lovers of sevdalinka will truly enjoy it - stated Mayor Memić.

- It is a great honor that we have been entrusted to organize the only national music festival "Ilidža 2017" this year. We will strive to justify the task entrusted to us, and I would emphasize that by holding this Festival, our sevdalinka will continue to survive and live - added Švrakić.
