Interpol Warrant: SIPA Arrested One Person in Čapljina

(Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), today (April 29, 2019) in the area of Čapljina, deprived one person of liberty, under an international warrant from Interpol NCB Sarajevo.

The Office for Combating Corruption and Organized Crime of the Republic of Croatia issued an international warrant through Interpol NCB Zagreb for the said person for deprivation of liberty and extradition to the Republic of Croatia, due to grounds for suspicion that, as a member of an organized criminal group, they committed a criminal offense related to unauthorized possession, production, and
trade of illicit drugs and substances prohibited in sports.

"By undertaking a series of operational and tactical measures and actions, SIPA police officers located the said person in the area of Čapljina, after which they were deprived of liberty and brought to SIPA premises for criminal processing. Upon completion of the aforementioned activities, the person deprived of liberty will be handed over to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for further proceedings," SIPA announced.
