SARAJEVO, (Patria) - A formal ceremony was held at the "Safet Zajko" Centre for Education, Sport and Recreation in Sarajevo to mark July 1st, Police Day in the Federation of BiH. The ceremony began with a parade of police formations and the submission of a report to the Federal Minister of Internal Affairs Aljoša Čampara. Numerous guests attended the marking of July 1st.
A minute of silence was observed in honour of all fallen police officers, and awards and recognitions were presented to employees who achieved the best results in the past period.
Deputy Director of FUP Ensad Korman stated that this police agency is an indispensable factor in shaping security policy and successfully combating crime, all with the aim of achieving the security and trust of our citizens.
Minister of FMUP Aljoša Čampara said that the police must be equipped and have all the conditions and equipment for their work.
As emphasized, today's ceremony is not a show of force but a message that citizens can always count on a swift and ready response from the police.
