SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The parliamentary group "Together for BiH" will propose two amendments to the Draft Budget of this entity at today's session of the National Assembly of RS.
The first amendment requests an increase in the budget of RS for the next year to finance returns to this entity.
The proposed amount is 780,000, and Amendment I requests the amount of 1,500,000 KM.
The parliamentary group proposes that the funds be transferred to budget reserve positions.
The explanation states that the allocated funds are insufficient considering the number of returnees to RS and their socio-economic situation. It is added that there are great needs in housing and infrastructure reconstruction, and that only 30 percent of these needs have been met.
The second amendment relates to current grants to charitable organizations. The parliamentary group "Together for BiH" proposes that the Muslim charitable organization Merhamet be provided with 140,000 KM instead of the planned 70,000 KM.
The proposers believe that this would facilitate Merhamet's work and improve the status of its beneficiaries.
