(Patria) - A high-ranking member of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard hinted that Iranian forces could consider an attack on Israel “if necessary”, revealing which city could be the target.
According to SkyNews, citing Iran International, Deputy Commander Ali Fadavi commented on the conflict in the Middle East during a gathering of students at the University of Tehran mosque.
“Some consider a direct missile attack on Haifa to be the most practical course of action. We will carry out this task without hesitation if it is necessary and essential,” Fadavi said.
However, he added, “I am not the one who determines the task”.
Otherwise, this is not the first time Fadavi has commented on the conflict. Last week, he said that Israel would face another “wave of strikes” from the resistance front if their “atrocities” in Gaza do not stop.
The resistance front is a term Iran often uses to refer to armed groups in the region with which it is associated.
