FBiH Taxpayers Paid 3.5 Billion KM in Taxes in Nine Months

The Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina informs the public that the total collected revenues in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period January-September 2017, for which the Tax Administration of FBiH is responsible, amount to 3,570,141,210 KM, which is 308,419,445 KM more compared to the same period in 2016, or expressed in percentage, 9.46% more.

In the period January-September 2017 compared to January-September 2016:

- Profit tax was collected in the amount of 278,120,887 KM, which is 56.14% more or 99,999,811 KM, of which a growth in the collection of corporate profit tax was recorded by 66.67% or by 89,057,935 KM, while the collection of tax on profits of banks and other financial institutions increased by 24.57% or by 10,941,876 KM;

- Property tax was collected in the amount of 127,665,390 KM, which is 1.64% more or 2,062,801 KM;

- Other taxes were collected in the amount of 1,154,487 KM, which is 5.35% more or 58,640 KM;

- Income tax was collected in the amount of 295,879,029 KM, which is an increase of 11.04% or 29,420,826 KM;

- Fees and charges were collected in the amount of 295,772,480 KM, which is 7.45% more or 20,516,177 KM.

In the period January-September 2017, contributions for pension and disability insurance, health insurance, and unemployment were collected in the total amount of 2,350,550,984 KM, which compared to the same period in 2016 represents an increase of 171,691,590 KM or expressed in percentage, 7.88%.

The Tax Administration thanks all taxpayers who are fulfilling their tax obligations properly and calls on all taxpayers to conduct business legally, to use their money for business improvement, investments, development, for paying employee salaries, and not to spend hard-earned money on paying fines and interest.
