Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Collected Over 3.2 Billion BAM in Nine Months

The Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina collected public revenues in the amount of 3,238,715,868 BAM in the period January – September 2016, which is 323,530,390 BAM or 11.10% more than in the same period of 2015.

- In September 2016, public revenues in the amount of 370,137,031 BAM were collected, which is 42,875,152 BAM or 13.10% more compared to September 2015. In September 2016, compared to September 2015, the total collection of direct taxes increased by 28.77% or 25,265,246 BAM, specifically:

- Property tax in the amount of 11,244,320 BAM, which is 68.51% more or 4,571,666 BAM;
- Profit tax in the amount of 17,118,921 BAM, which is 30.88% more or 4,038,679 BAM, of which the collection of profit tax for banks and financial institutions increased by 49.46% or 1,432,304 BAM, and profit tax for companies by 25.59% or 2,606,375 BAM.
- Income tax was collected in the amount of 30,911,063 BAM, which is an increase of 33.21% or 7,706,696 BAM.

In September 2016, based on contributions for pension and disability insurance, contributions for health insurance, and contributions for unemployment, a total of 256,741,537 BAM was collected, which is 7.26% or 17,377,817 BAM more compared to September 2015. By contribution structure, the growth is as follows: contributions for PIO/MIO by 5.90%; contributions for health insurance by 8.55%; contributions for unemployment insurance by 13.17%.

The Tax Administration of FBiH will continue to undertake measures and actions within its jurisdiction in order to collect public revenues.
