Inspectors of the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH yesterday (04/29/2020) conducted 9 inspections in rapid controls, so-called actions, in the area of Bjelašnica mountain, which included taxpayers engaged in construction activities. The goal of the controls was to verify compliance with the Law on Fiscal Systems and the employment of undeclared workers.
In these controls, inspectors of the Tax Administration discovered 13 undeclared workers, 2 taxpayers who did not issue fiscal receipts, and one taxpayer who did not have an installed fiscal device. Due to the identified irregularities: employment of undeclared workers, non-recording of transactions via fiscal device, and the absence of a fiscalized fiscal device, in 6 cases, misdemeanor orders were filed with total fines amounting to 21,600.00 KM.
The Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH informs taxpayers that business premises that are sealed during an inspection due to identified irregularities will not be unsealed immediately after the identified irregularities are rectified, as was the case until now, due to the current situation caused by the COVID19 virus pandemic and the reduced number of inspectors. The Tax Administration will intensify activities in the coming period to control the legality of taxpayers' operations and prevent the grey economy, and calls on taxpayers with identified irregularities to align their operations and comply with the laws.
