FBiH Tax Administration: 30 facilities closed and misdemeanor warrants issued in the amount of 255,800 KM

The Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH carried out an inspection of 194 business entities across the entire Federation of BiH on December 22, 2015. During the inspections, inspectors of the FBiH Tax Administration discovered 55 undeclared workers and 10 facilities where activities were conducted without the approval of the competent authority, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Due to the employment of undeclared workers, work without the approval of competent authorities, and failure to record turnover, 30 facilities were sealed and 80 misdemeanor warrants were issued in the total amount of 255,800.00 KM.

The inspections were carried out based on intelligence and investigative data, as well as reports from citizens who submitted information about irregularities to the FBiH Tax Administration via email: [email protected] and [email protected], as well as via SMS to mobile number 061 724 610 and through the toll-free number 080 020 333.

With the aim of increasing tax discipline and preventing the gray economy, the FBiH Tax Administration will continue its activities of monitoring the legality of operations, recording turnover through fiscal devices, and controlling undeclared work, and invites citizens to submit all information about irregularities regarding compliance with tax and other laws to the aforementioned addresses and phone numbers.
