FBiH Tax Authority sealed shops in the bezistan, inspectors verbally attacked!

Inspectors of the FBiH Tax Authority today temporarily sealed a large number of shops in the Gazi Husrev-beg bezistan, and the owners and tenants of the shops verbally attacked the inspectors, and one facility was sealed with the intervention of the MUP KS, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

All this happened in front of numerous tourists who often buy souvenirs in these shops.

The shop owners are outraged because their shops have been sealed, and they are mostly demobilized soldiers and families of martyrs who survive in this way. Some of them tried to forcibly enter the shop, which is not allowed by law when an inspector seals a facility.

Spokesperson of the FBiH Tax Authority Adisa Hamzić told Patria that the inspectors are still in the field.

- Regular inspections of the legality of operations are being conducted - said Hamzić, adding that it involves a larger number of facilities and that inspections are being carried out in the Sarajevo Canton, as well as throughout the entire FBiH.

The reason for sealing the facilities is the lack of a fiscal system among the shop owners.
