
Inspectors of the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH, continuing their activities to control the legality of operations, carried out 179 inspections on January 12, 2016. Due to established irregularities, they temporarily sealed 27 facilities where 53 undeclared workers were found.
During the inspection, it was established that 12 facilities were conducting business without the approval of the competent authority.
Due to the established irregularities: employment of undeclared workers, work without the approval of competent authorities, and failure to record turnover, 98 misdemeanor warrants were issued with fines totaling 255,650.00 BAM.
The aforementioned activities were carried out in the territory of the Federation of BiH, and these controls involved teams of inspectors from the competent cantonal tax offices, the Sector for Registration, Control and Collection of Contributions, and the Department for Intelligence and Investigations.
Inspection activities continue. The Tax Administration calls on taxpayers to fulfill their obligations, and citizens to report, with full discretion, non-compliance with tax laws, employment of undeclared workers, failure to issue fiscal receipts, and other corrupt activities.
