FBiH TAX ADMINISTRATION: 566 fewer employees in seven days

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The total number of employed persons in the Federation of BiH as of 24.08.2020, by insured person's residence, is 516,237. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the lowest number of employed persons in the Federation of BiH was recorded on 05.05.2020, amounting to 507,607. As of 24.08.2020, the number of employed persons is 516,237, which is 8,630 more compared to 05.05.2020.

The number of employed persons as of 24.08.2020 is 566 less compared to the previously published data on the number of employed persons from 17.08.2020, which was 516,803.

The decrease in the number of employed persons is caused by the overall economic situation resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. A decrease in the number of employed persons is observed in the following sectors: hospitality, hotels, trade, education, and manufacturing.
