Tax Administration of FBiH: 4.6 billion KM of public revenues collected in 11 months

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH informs the public that taxpayers of the Federation of BiH in the period January – November 2020 paid 4,644,290,681 KM in public revenues, which is 151,360,902 KM, or 3.16%, less than in the same period in 2019.

In the structure of public revenues for the period January – November 2020: income tax and arrears of personal income tax were collected in the amount of 377,069,293 KM, profit tax and arrears of profit tax were collected in the amount of 323,463,691 KM, tax on the transfer of real estate and rights was collected in the amount of 55,863,860 KM, property tax, inheritance and gift tax was collected in the amount of 34,746,212 KM, arrears of other taxes were collected in the amount of 473,842 KM, fees and charges were collected in the amount of 521,728,977 KM, fines were collected in the amount of 40,539,878 KM, membership fees were collected in the amount of 3,521,000 KM, other public revenues were collected in the amount of 2,159,687 KM.

In the period January – November 2020, contributions for pension and disability insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance were collected in the total amount of 3,283,718,044 KM.

In the structure of contributions for the period January – November 2020, contributions for PIO/MIO were collected in the amount of 1,827,538,623 KM, contributions for health insurance in the amount of 1,304,219,534 KM, contributions for unemployment insurance in the amount of 151,959,888 KM.

Number of employees in the Federation of BiH

The number of employees in the Federation of BiH as of November 30, 2020, by insured person's residence, is 521,574, which is an increase of 253 compared to the previously published figure of November 23, 2020, when it was 521,321. The number of employees in the Federation of BiH as of November 30, 2020, compared to the number of employees as of March 16, 2020 (when the number of employees in FBiH by insured person's residence was 534,076) is lower by 12,502.

The number of employees in the Federation of BiH is higher by 13,967 employees compared to May 5, 2020, when the lowest number of employees since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic was recorded at 507,607.

Recording of turnover through fiscal devices

According to official data from the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH, as of November 30, 2020, a total of 85,289 fiscal devices were installed in the Federation of BiH, through which a total turnover of 3,401,885,584.27 KM was recorded in November 2020. Compared to November 30, 2019, the number of fiscal devices is higher by 10,747, and the recorded turnover in November 2020 is lower than in November 2019 by 507,895,153.14 KM.

The municipality with the largest number of fiscal devices as of November 30, 2020, is the municipality of Centar Sarajevo, with 5,614 fiscal devices installed in its area. The municipality with the smallest number of fiscal devices as of November 30, 2020, is the municipality of Pale, with 15 fiscal devices installed in its area.

The municipality with the highest total turnover recorded through fiscal devices in November 2020 is the municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo, with a total turnover of fiscal devices recorded in its area amounting to 267,987,945.64 KM.

The municipality with the lowest total turnover recorded through fiscal devices in November 2020 is the municipality of Dobretići, with a total turnover of fiscal devices recorded in its area amounting to 71,540.85 KM.
