SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Tax Administration of FBiH calls on taxpayers organizing live music performances to fulfill their legally prescribed obligations in a timely manner.
This includes reporting the start and end dates of live music performances three days before their commencement in a catering facility.
Taxpayers must also submit a report on calculated and paid municipal tax for live music performances to the competent tax office, within the prescribed deadline, in accordance with cantonal laws.
- Conclude a contract for artistic work with the live music performer, or calculate, withhold, and report income tax, pension and disability insurance contributions, and health insurance contributions each time the performer's fee is paid - state the Tax Administration of FBiH.
Failure to comply with these obligations may result in fines ranging from 500.00 KM to 10,000.00 KM for legal entities, and fines for responsible persons within legal entities ranging from 200.00 KM to 2,000.00 KM, and fines for individuals ranging from 200.00 KM to 3,000.00 KM.
Ahead of the upcoming New Year's holidays, the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will conduct intensified controls of catering facilities throughout the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to verify the legal organization of live music.
We invite you to fulfill the aforementioned and other tax obligations, in accordance with tax and other regulations, because the goal of the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is not to punish taxpayers.
