Tax Administration of FBiH: Pay the principal debt and earn an interest of 14.6%

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH invites taxpayers to take advantage of the possibility of waiving default interest on public revenues in the amount of 0.04% daily or 14.6% annually.
According to the provisions of the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Rate of Default Interest on Public Revenues, interest incurred on unpaid public revenues as of December 31, 2016, will be waived in full if the taxpayer pays the principal by May 5, 2019, at the latest.

“Given that only a few days remain until the deadline, we call on taxpayers to pay the principal debt and thus exercise their right to waive interest calculated on debts up to December 31, 2016,” the Tax Administration announced.

The request for waiver of default interest on public revenues is submitted on Form ZAOK, in person or by mail, to the competent tax office where the applicant is registered as a taxpayer, or where the applicant's headquarters or address is located. Form ZAOK can be downloaded from the website of the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH: www.pufbih.ba in the section “Forms”.
