FBiH Tax Administration: Number of Employed Workers in the Federation of BiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In accordance with the new situation caused by the COVID19 virus pandemic, as well as a large number of requests from authorities, public media, and other entities, in order to inform the public, the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH informs the public that it is working on upgrading software solutions to publish the number of employed persons on a daily basis.

Until this software solution is established, the Tax Administration informs the public that it will publish the number of employed persons by cantons and municipalities twice a week, every Friday and Tuesday: by employee's residence (JMBG) and place of work (JIB). Data on the number of employed persons will be published in such a way that the report published on Tuesday will contain data up to the previous Friday, and the report published on Friday will contain data up to the previous Tuesday. The aforementioned dynamics of data publication are conditioned by the legal deadline for processing forms in the Tax Administration of FBiH, as well as the difficult communication of contribution payers with the Tax Administration given the new situation, for the sake of data reliability.

Published data on employed persons are created based on processed forms up to the last status and forwarded to competent extra-budgetary funds. The difference in the number of employed persons by residence and place of work is based on the generation procedure and the type of data.

Namely, the number of employed persons is based on the employee's residence (JMBG) regardless of where the person is employed (in the municipality of residence or another municipality, or in the same canton or another canton), and the number of employed persons by place of work, i.e., by employer's location (JIB), is generated according to the number of employees with contribution payers, regardless of whether it is full-time or part-time employment, or where the employee resides (they can be from the municipality where they are employed, but they can also be from another municipality or another canton), so the difference in numbers corresponds to the number of persons who have two or more part-time jobs.

In the tabular overview, see the status of the number of employed workers.
