The Tax Administration thanks all taxpayers who duly fulfill their tax obligations and invites all taxpayers to do business legally, to use their money for business improvement, investments, development, for paying employee salaries, and not to spend hard-earned money on paying fines and interest. The Tax Administration invites taxpayers to fulfill their obligations on time, to report and pay them voluntarily, to report every worker, i.e., to do business in accordance with tax and other applicable regulations, as this is the best and safest way of doing business.
The Tax Administration will assist taxpayers who show that they intend and wish to fulfill all their tax obligations in every way, and will show determination to take all measures against taxpayers who wish to avoid them, and through the undertaken measures and activities, direct these taxpayers towards legal conduct. The Tax Administration wants to be a partner to taxpayers and build transparent relationships based on applicable laws.
The Tax Administration thanks all media outlets for their cooperation. Through your reporting on our work, you have contributed to the more transparent work of the Tax Administration and raised the overall awareness of taxpayers to settle their obligations. We invite you to continue following the work of the Tax Administration.
The Tax Administration invites the accounting and auditing profession to work in a way that serves the public interest and to act in accordance with applicable laws, as well as to refrain from any behavior that may harm the public interest and be detrimental to the accounting and auditing profession.
The responsibility of an accountant is not solely to satisfy the needs of an individual employer, but to act in accordance with applicable regulations and thus act in the public interest. Your profession can and should play a significant role in preventing illegal activities of taxpayers and responsible persons, by influencing these persons through your advice and actions not to commit illegal acts, and to report those who do so to the Tax Administration. In order not to be participants in committing illegal activities, we invite you to report all illegal activities related to tax evasion or non-payment of public revenues by taxpayers for whom you perform activities to the Tax Administration.
Be a partner and ally of the Tax Administration in the fight against illegal business operations. The Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH invites notaries in the Federation of BiH, as holders of public service, when performing legal transactions concerning the transfer or acquisition of ownership or other real rights, to pay attention to the legal conditions that must be met for unimpeded transactions and thus work for the benefit of the legal system and all citizens.
The Tax Administration invites the notary service to, in order to more effectively implement the law when drafting sales contracts, also consider the provisions of: Article 55 of the Law on Profit Tax, Article 18 paragraphs 1 and 3 of the Law on Financial Operations, and Article 31 paragraph 1 of the Law on the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH, and thus avoid the risk of non-compliance with the law by concluding contracts.
Be a partner of the Tax Administration in respecting tax laws.
The Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH invites all workers working illegally to inform the Tax Administration about it. The Tax Administration will consider all reports seriously and thoroughly and act upon them in accordance with the law, its competences, and available capacities, and will undertake all measures at its disposal to ensure that employers register their workers. Only in this way will you be able to realize your legally guaranteed rights: the right to health care, the right to pension and disability insurance, and other rights that belong to you based on employment.
Take a step and help yourself. The Tax Administration is determined to help you! Are you determined to help yourself? Be a partner of the Tax Administration in preventing undeclared work! Dear workers, especially young people, this is your homeland and you should stay in it and be happy, not disenfranchised, humiliated, and exploited.
Do not allow your rights and happiness to be diminished by those who do not register you and do not pay taxes and contributions, thus deceiving both you and the state, while increasing their wealth. Taxes and contributions are also your money.
Together, let's make society fairer.
