MARKET DISRUPTION Gas and oil prices skyrocket

(Patria) - The price of gas has increased by over 20% on stock exchanges in the last 72 hours. The current price is approx. USD 1000 per 1000 Sm3. The price of oil has crossed the USD 100 mark. 

After Russia launched an attack on Ukraine this morning, prices will explode.

According to announcements from Russia, following the introduction of sanctions due to the recognition of Luhansk and Donetsk, the price of gas per 1000 Sm3 will be 2000 euros.

Although Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the regular supply of gas to world markets, Germany refused to certify the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, and Russia's response will be a higher price for gas.

Many countries have announced that they will not be able to pay such an increased price for gas.
