Increase in the collection of tax revenues and contributions in FBiH

(Patria) - The FBiH Government accepted the monthly review of the collection of tax revenues and contributions in the Federation of BiH for May 2021 and the period from 1.1. to 31.5.2021.

In May 2021, the total level of monthly revenue realization from indirect and direct taxes, and social contributions in FBiH amounted to 599.4 million KM, which is 21 percent or 104 million KM more compared to the same month last year, when the collection of public revenues, due to the negative economic consequences of the COVID-19 virus pandemic, experienced a significant monthly decrease. On a cumulative level, in the first five months of the year, total revenues from these bases amounted to 3,099.1 million KM, and were 181.6 million KM or 6.2 percent higher compared to the same period in 2020.

The available portion of indirect tax revenues from the Single Account for the budgets of all users in FBiH in May was realized in the total amount of 196.4 million KM, which is 41.1 percent higher compared to the same month in 2020.

The total collection of revenues from mandatory social contributions in May 2021 amounted to approximately 310 million KM and is 41.7 million KM higher compared to May 2020. On a cumulative level, total collected contributions in the period January - May 2021 amounted to 1,532.4 million KM and are 94.5 million KM higher compared to the same period in 2020.
