Mad Estonian reports clash with Dubrovnik police on Twitter

A 43-year-old Estonian citizen approached the entry border control at GP Karasovići, Croatia in a camper vehicle with Estonian license plates. During the border control procedure, he attacked a customs officer inside the vehicle and attempted to stab him with a pitchfork, which the customs officer avoided by jumping out of the camper, after which the 43-year-old locked himself inside the vehicle, reports the Patria news agency.

He then climbed through a roof opening, removed all his clothing, and began insulting and threatening the police officer who tried to negotiate with him to exit the vehicle.

After that, he threw a pitchfork at the police officer, who managed to avoid it. Acting on a court order to search the vehicle, police officers deployed tear gas into the vehicle, after which the 43-year-old ran out and attempted to flee, but was immediately arrested, and was taken in restraints to the Dubrovnik hospital where he was hospitalized due to his medical condition.

Upon completion of the criminal investigation, a criminal complaint will be filed against the Estonian citizen with the competent state attorney's office.
