(Patria) - Polish President Andrzej Duda said on Thursday that the prime minister's comments about no longer arming Ukraine had been misunderstood, AFP reported.
"Mateusz Morawiecki's words have been misinterpreted in the worst possible way," President Duda said.
"In my opinion, the prime minister meant that we would not be transferring new weapons to Ukraine that we are currently buying while modernizing the Polish army," Duda told TVN24.
Let us recall that due to a dispute over grain exports from Ukraine, the Polish prime minister stated earlier this week that Poland would no longer send weapons to Kyiv, which is defending itself against the Russian invasion.
