POLAND Bus carrying Ukrainian refugees overturned

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - A bus full of refugees from Ukraine overturned early this morning in a town near Lublin.

According to Polish media, at least four children were injured and they were urgently transported to the hospital.

"The bus was heading towards Warsaw when it suddenly veered off the road into a ditch and overturned," the local police announced.

There were 73 people on the bus, including two drivers.

At least five passengers were taken to the hospital. The children are reportedly not in life-threatening condition.

"The driver underwent an alcohol test and had no alcohol in his blood," the police stated.

As a reminder, about half a million people have fled from Ukraine to Poland in the past eight days.
