Poland calls on its citizens to leave Iran immediately

(Patria) - Polish citizens should leave Iran immediately, the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Wednesday, Reuters reported.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls for immediate departure from Iran and advises against all travel to this country," the post on the social network X stated.

Separately, on Wednesday, Italy strongly renewed its appeal to its citizens to leave Iran due to the security situation in the country, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Wednesday.

There are about 600 Italians in Iran, most of them in the Tehran area, it added.

Several other countries have called on their citizens to leave Iran amid tensions with the US and unrest protests that have been ongoing for several weeks in Tehran.
