Farmers protested, demanding the dismissal of Košarac and protection of domestic production

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Farmers from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina blocked customs terminals at the Rača and Gradiška border crossings.

Thus, they expressed their dissatisfaction with the excessive import of agricultural and food products into Bosnia and Herzegovina, and with the work of the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, Staša Košarac.

Farmers are demanding protection of domestic production, the dismissal of the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, Staša Košarac, as well as a discussion with the authorities, reports BHRT.

As they stated, while on one hand they have surpluses of meat, milk, fruits, and vegetables, the authorities are importing these products.

This includes 115 million liters of milk, tons of vegetables, and several thousand head of fattening calves and pigs.
