Farmers need to update their farm data from January 1st

At the beginning of next year, the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry will start implementing new software for processing cash incentives in agriculture, the Ministry announced, reports Patria News Agency.

Due to the introduction of this software, all farmers are obliged to update the data on their agricultural resources (land and/or livestock) on their farms in the period from January 1st to March 31st, 2017.

Individuals engaged in agriculture who wish to receive cash incentives are invited to update their data in the premises of the municipality of their residence, as in previous years, while legal entities update their data in the municipalities of their registered seat.

Individuals and legal entities that do not update their data will not be considered during the electronic data processing and will not be able to exercise their right to cash incentives.
