Agricultural production in the Federation is on the rise

Agricultural production in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, despite being pressured by imported goods, is recording steady growth.

According to data from the Federal Statistical Office, the total value of sales of agricultural products of own production by agricultural enterprises and agricultural cooperatives in the Federation in May 2017 amounted to 10,591,010 KM, which is an increase of 3,030,674 KM or 40.09 percent compared to May 2016.

According to data from the same office, the total value of purchases of agricultural products from family agricultural producers in May 2017 amounted to 10,616,970 KM, which is an increase of 1,103,658 KM or 11.60 percent compared to May 2016, reports NAP.
