Political Immaturity and Personal Ambitions: Izetbegović Deceived Komšić, Halilović, Jerlagić, Radončić

SDA and its president Bakir Izetbegović are still officially silent, although four days have passed since the leader of SBB, Fahrudin Radončić, stated in a press release that he will not enter the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, writes the news agency Patria.

Although Radončić packaged in his statement, as he said, that at other levels where the SDA-SBB coalition formed the government everything is fine and that citizens should not worry, it is clear that with this move he pushed Izetbegović to the wall, with whom he apparently reached a face-to-face agreement in the "shock room" at Kibet when the "Bosniak unity" was concluded, which the first man of SDA did not honor.

Without Radončić's SBB, there is no majority in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina. And there is a huge problem.

He told Izetbegović, of course again all nicely wrapped in cellophane and with a bow, that he will not enter the Council of Ministers as long as the Minister of Finance and Treasury Aljoša Čampara, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdić, and until the leader of SDA pressures the state prosecutor Dubravko Čampara to stop the investigations against Radončić.

For those who closely follow the political scene in Bosnia and Herzegovina, this move by Radončić is not a surprise.

Because, with the press release, he only disclosed what he had asked Izetbegović face-to-face as a condition for Bosniak unity and entry into the coalition, and the latter promised to fulfill it.

The real and personal, not principled reasons as Radončić wants to present them, and because of which he made this, for Izetbegović, far from pleasant political move, even the birds on the branch know.

Without going into that, like it or not, one must congratulate Radončić on a brilliant move that only raised the price of his political shares, and on the other hand nailed the president of SDA, who showed that in inter-party negotiations he behaves like a "village swindler".

Not so long ago, Izetbegović also had an agreement with the leader of DF, Željko Komšić, when they formed a coalition.

However, he did not honor it, and Komšić first left the federal government, and then they expelled him from the cantonal and state levels as well. Izetbegović explained this by saying that Komšić wanted to change the system in the government that has been in place for 20 years.

It should not be forgotten that even before the coalition with DF, Komšić tried to convince Izetbegović that SBB must immediately enter the government, but the politically immature president of SDA did not want that solely for personal reasons.

Then came the turn of the "small parties", which Izetbegović frantically tried to gather. Thus, he sat down with the president of BPS, Sefer Halilović, and promised to get involved in solving political murders. Halilović even set a deadline for that, but of course, he was deceived like Komšić.

Among the deceived is also the president of S BiH, Amer Jerlagić, to whom Izetbegović promised a firm position as Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry, but he predictably did not get it, instead being given several director positions to satisfy his appetites. A-SDA was also deceived there, which no one mentions anymore. There is nothing from the promised ministerial seat.

In that campaign of political fraud, Izetbegović thus came to Radončić as well, through the mediation of Dragan Čović, who also reconciled them.

Believing that the government would be formed at all levels, and that he would continue to tell fairy tales face-to-face that he would meet Radončić's demands, Izetbegović overestimated his political abilities.

However, the problem is no longer that he deceives his political opponents because such a thing is common practice, but that due to his personal ambitions and immaturity for the functions he performs, he is dragging Bosnia and Herzegovina into the deepest crisis so far.
