Police officers seeking rights in front of the RS National Assembly: We want to renounce double war service

(Patria) - Police officers who were members of the Army of Republika Srpska or the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RS during the war, and who reside in Republika Srpska, currently employed in three agencies – SIPA, Border Police, and the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies, are seeking the possibility to renounce their double war service.

They gathered today in front of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska in Banja Luka, to ask the MPs to include their demands in the discussion with their consultations.

Radovan Marčeta, a police officer from the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies, who is in charge of media relations for the group of police officers, says that the main problem is that these officers cannot renounce their double war service.
