Police Board Rejects Appeals of Candidates for Special Unit: Lukač and Čampara Stronger Than All Laws!?

According to now official information received, the FUP Police Board rejected the appeals of four candidates for the Special Police Unit, whom Dragan Lukač removed from the list compiled by the Commission based on test results.

The Police Board invoked Article 4, which takes into account national representation from the Law on Police Officers.

Thus, the Police Board also legalized discrimination in employment and confirmed that "where logic ends, Bosnia begins."

- Despite the efforts of the media and the public, forums, and support for the candidates, unfortunately, it has been proven once again that the SDA, and thus Aljoša Čampara and Lukač, are stronger than all laws in BiH. It is questionable whether it is even important now to file a complaint with the prosecutor's office and courts, when they have done nothing despite media reports, even though prosecutors are obliged to do so ex officio. It is questionable whether to file a complaint with the ombudsmen of F BiH or BiH when they have not commented or acted ex officio despite media reports so far. Everything in this country is questionable. The best thing is to leave and abandon everything. Return as a minister of the Swedish Government or as a top football player representing that same Sweden. Go to America and be a member of the Microsoft team. Just get out of here as far as possible, even on a barge - states in the letter that Patria received from the candidates who appealed.

Furthermore, the letter states that on behalf of the four candidates, they thank the media that followed the entire case.

- We also thank the OHR, which "called on the FUP to respect the law," but also Dragan Mektić, who is a bright spot in police structures. I thank the entire public and all portals that covered this event. If we had succeeded, it would have been a victory for all of us against nationalism and discrimination; as it is, this is just another lost battle. This discrimination was also condemned by four political parties, i.e., their representatives.

If anything, we managed to unite them at one point. The four of us, young guys who wanted to be special forces. Therefore, we especially thank the SDP, DF, SBB, and SDS (Dragan Mektić). We contacted those parties by email, and they supported our struggle through their statements.

We tell citizens to start thinking about the next democratic elections now. About 850 stolen cars in Sarajevo Canton in one year, about the trial for the murder of Dženan Memić, about the "sport fishing" their police engage in (catch, photograph, release), about cases of arresting judges, prosecutors, expert witnesses. The arrest of two cantonal commissioners, one of whom is still on the run, just as a judge is on the run.

About car races and killing young men and women on city streets, about the highway whose cornerstone was laid in 1997, about hydroelectric plants that have been under construction for 16 years, about the arrest of Zukić and the director of the electricity distribution company (all from SDA), and to look around themselves. Not to forget everything that is being done and where they live.

They erased Ismet Gavrankapetanović, they erased Dr. Mesihović, they erased 30 doctors at Koševo. They sold steelworks and cement plants in a war-torn country to Indians and Germans. They erased the only chocolate factory in BiH. The wire and nail factory, Feroelektro, Soko from Mostar, Aluminij from Mostar, more than half of the factories in Tuzla, Šipad they erased, they erased and bought up half of the defense industry in Travnik and Novi Travnik. We have three city transport companies in the entire country, and they destroyed them. They destroyed education, they destroyed culture (museums), they destroyed the auto industry (TAS), and they also destroyed the only state airline company. They erased all the chimneys from the coat of arms of the former SR BiH.

We four are just collateral damage and nowhere near as important as the fighters who have been waiting in front of the F BiH Government for two months. Our destiny will come, and we did not expect it to be given to us by Dragan Lukač or the Police Board, whose two members he proposed and one Čampara. All of them were confirmed by Fadil Novalić. We did not expect it. In our opinion, these are petty souls. Lukač's time is inexorably passing. He will never sit in that chair again. We might. Our time is coming, and his is inexorably passing.

We wish the accepted candidates all the best in life and at the police academy. To the FUP special forces, we sincerely wish that these guys are worthy of being on teams with you and that you can rely on them - states in the letter from the candidates whose appeals were rejected and who were discriminated against.
