Police Commissioner Selimović dismissed, Fatmir Hajdarević appointed as deputy

(Patria) - The Government of Sarajevo Canton, at today's session, passed a Decision dismissing Nusret Selimović from the position of police commissioner in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, effective March 9, 2023, at his personal request.

The decision to dismiss the police commissioner was made after the Independent Board of the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton submitted a proposal for his dismissal to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton by act dated February 1, 2023.

The Government also passed a decision appointing Fatmir Hajdarević, chief inspector in the Police Administration and current head of the Ilidža Police Administration, as deputy police commissioner in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.

 

He will perform this duty until the completion of the tender procedure for the appointment of a new police commissioner, as prescribed by the Law on Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
