Sarajevo police yesterday received the surrender of 62-year-old taxi driver Besim Hasečić, who set his apartment on fire in the Čengić Vila settlement seven days ago, writes the Patria News Agency.
This information was confirmed to us by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, but they currently do not have more details about where Hasečić was hiding for the past week.
On February 26, in the morning hours, Hasečić threw a bomb in his apartment, after which a fire broke out.
According to information published by the media at the time, he lived alone, but the bank was supposed to repossess his apartment because he was a guarantor for someone who did not repay their loan.
Out of revolt, Hasečić threw a bomb, thus destroying his apartment.
After criminal processing at the police station, he will be handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo.
