Police ban rally as part of 'Pride Parade' in Banja Luka

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The Banja Luka Police Administration has issued a decision banning a public gathering organized by independent creators and activists "Geto" from Banja Luka and "BH Pride Parade" from Sarajevo, which was supposed to be held tonight in Banja Luka from 5:30 PM to 1:00 AM.

"The Banja Luka Police Administration issued the decision after analyzing all security aspects and circumstances of this public gathering, and it was assessed that there is a real possibility that people and property could be significantly endangered at the same.

Considering that in the past few days there have been many negative reactions regarding this public gathering and that a number of threats have been sent to the organizer and participants of this gathering, the Banja Luka Police Administration appeals to citizens to respect positive legal regulations and not to endanger others with their behavior," said the Banja Luka police.
