Police arrest 20-year-old who smashed windows on three trolleybuses

(Patria) - A twenty-year-old man damaged the windshields of three trolleybuses today around noon on Sarajevo streets Azize Šaćirbegović, Bulevar Ivice Osima and Safeta Hadžića.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton Mersiha Novalić confirmed that the suspect was placed under the control of police officers, adding that it is a male person with initials Dž.R. (born 2003).

The Minister of Transport of Sarajevo Canton Adnan Šteta also spoke out, stating on his Facebook profile that three new trolleybuses were destroyed with stones.

"To me is unimaginable and incredible. To me and to everyone who loves this city, I am sure. There are few days when I think everything is in vain. Today is one of them.

I hope the passengers are now calm, I thank the drivers for their good handling, and the police for their quick reaction and arrest of the perpetrator," wrote Šteta.
