Police searching for killer after murdered migrant found in car trunk

(Patria) - Last night, two minutes after midnight, in Ilidža, on Most Spasa street, the body of an unidentified man, most likely of Afro-Asian origin, was found in a car.

The doctor from the Sarajevo Canton Emergency Medical Service confirmed the death of the found person.

The investigation, led by the duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, was carried out by police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton and an authorized forensic expert of medical profession.

The acting prosecutor qualified the event as the criminal offense of murder.

Police officers have operational information that one person, whose identity is known to the police officers, can be directly linked to the commission of this criminal offense, and a search for this person is underway.

Due to the grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of aiding the perpetrator after the commission of the criminal offense, 37-year-old Y.Z. from Pakistan was deprived of his liberty and is undergoing criminal processing.
