Banja Luka police found around 110 cannabis plants in a forest near the City Cemetery, along with a nursery for this drug. Two individuals were arrested, one born in 1956 and the other in 1983, the police announced, as reported by Patria.
The police searched the houses and vehicles of the arrested individuals. A larger amount of money was found and seized. It is assumed that the money comes from drug sales. The police also confiscated an automatic rifle with 7.62 mm caliber ammunition.
The duty prosecutor of the District Prosecutor's Office in Banja Luka ordered that the individuals be released after the criminal investigation, and that a report on the committed criminal offense be submitted through regular procedure.
In the past month, the police in Banja Luka have discovered three cannabis plantations, Patria writes.
