SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs spokesperson Mirza Hadžiabdić stated that the police are actively searching for the killer of an employee of the JU Student Center in Sarajevo. The victim has been identified as A.Š., born in 1976.
The police received the report around 11:35 AM, and by 11:45 AM, the Emergency Medical Service team had confirmed the man's death.
"The investigation is being led by the duty prosecutor of the KS Prosecutor's Office, after which more information will be available," Hadžiabdić said.
He emphasized that no students were harmed, but rather it was an employee of the JU Student Center KS.
"The police know the identity of the person suspected of the murder. The police are actively searching for this person," Hadžiabdić said.
Azra Bavčić, spokesperson for the KS Prosecutor's Office, stated that it is too early to discuss the motives for the murder.
"We are searching for the perpetrator of the murder. Alongside the investigation, witnesses to the murder are also being interviewed," Bavčić said.
