Police searching for third perpetrator of last night's murder in Pofalići

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Sarajevo police are still searching for the third perpetrator of last night's shooting in the Pofalići neighbourhood in which one person died. One person was arrested last night on suspicion of committing murder. Several shell casings were found at the scene, and reportedly three pistols were used. 

The shooting occurred from a moving vehicle towards another vehicle at an intersection in Pofalići.

"The death of M.R., born in 1996 in Sarajevo, where he resided, was confirmed by doctors from the Institute for Emergency Medical Assistance of Sarajevo Canton. At the scene, A.J., born in 1991, a resident of Sarajevo, was found. On the same day at 23:50, A.J. was deprived of liberty on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense under Article 166 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Murder) and handed over to the premises of the Unit for Security of Facilities and Detention of Persons Deprived of Liberty of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton. The investigation was conducted by the duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, police officers of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton, and an authorized forensic medical expert. Based on collected operational information, A.K., born in 1991, a resident of Sarajevo, who is being sought, may also be linked to the commission of the described criminal offense," the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton stated. 

As confirmed by multiple sources, these are individuals previously known to police agencies who have committed multiple criminal offenses.
